ADELA JUŠIĆ

Adela Jušić was born in 1982 in Sarajevo, BiH, where she lives and works. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Sarajevo, and in 2013, she received her MA in Human Rights and Democracy in South-Eastern Europe (ERMA), from the universities of Bologna and Sarajevo. Her works involve different media and she has exhibited them internationally since 2007. She participated in more than 100 international exhibitions, numerous art residence programmes (ISCP, New York; Kulturkontakt, Vienna; Museums Quartier, Vienna), as well as many panel discussions, workshops, conferences and symposia. Her works are included in a number private and public art collections. She co-founded and, from 2010 to 2019, worked on cultural projects within the Crvena (Red)) Association for Culture and Art, and she has been one of the creators of the Online Archive of the Anti-Fascist Struggle of the Women of BiH and Yugoslavia.
