MIHAEL MILUNOVIĆ

Mihael Milunović was born in Belgrade in 1967. He lives and works between Paris and Belgrade. He graduated from the Department of Painting of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, where he also received his MA. He specialised in painting under Prof V. Veličković at l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris 1995-1996. His main interests involve social and political issues, through decontextualisation of everyday objects, symbols and situations. Milunović creates a sense of unease in the public, a mixture of alienation and curiosity. Since 1994, he has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Serbia and abroad. His works are included in different public and private collections all over the world.
